Introduction to Quote Templates
The Quote Template is a Word document that is used to create new quotes. Think of it as intelligent stationary. The template consists of the design details of your quote, such as you company logo, or perhaps a second page of terms and conditions, or your name, title and signature as well as the detail from the quote. When a quote is created using MasterQ, the Quote Template is the starting point.
Quote Templates are Totally Flexible
Any design that you can implement in Microsoft Word can be used as the basis for your quotes. The template can contain graphics (such as your company logo or perhaps a scanned copy of your signature). In addition to the items being quoted, you can insert Tokens into the quote template. When a quote is created, these tokens are replaced with the appropriate values from the quote or customer record.
